Tailored orthopaedic shoes and inserts designed specifically for your feet to correct abnormalities, improve posture, and alleviate lower body pain.
Custom orthotics are medical devices worn inside your shoes that align and support the foot and ankle into a more normal, biomechanically efficient position. They function like shock absorbers to remove the pressure and stress from painful areas in the foot and ankle, which cascades up to relieve knee, hip, and lower back pain. We perform a 3D gait analysis and cast a physical mold of your feet to create inserts that perfectly match your arches and address your specific biomechanical faults.
Over-the-counter inserts are generically shaped and only provide cushioning. Custom orthotics are prescription medical devices made from highly accurate 3D molds of your specific feet, designed to permanently correct your unique biomechanical imbalances.
Most custom orthotics can easily be transferred between your existing supportive shoes (like running shoes or boots) as long as the shoe's original factory insole can be removed. We also offer custom orthopaedic footwear for difficult-to-fit cases.
We recommend that you wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing that allows your therapist to easily access the area being treated. For lower-body injuries, shorts are ideal; for upper-body issues, a tank top or loose t-shirt works best. We have washrooms available if you need to change upon arrival.
We require 24 hours' notice for all cancellations or rescheduling of therapy appointments. This allows us to offer the time slot to other patients on our waiting list. Late cancellations or missed appointments may be subject to a fee.
We are located at 83 Kennedy Road S, Brampton, ON.
We've got you covered. There is plenty of free parking located directly in front of the clinic.
